The Emperor Sea Strider, one of the largest creatures in all of pure spec evo, in Expedition, they can reach up to 189 meters. In Alien Planet, they are smaller though, reaching up to 21 m. In the measurements described in the book, it can make redwoods and sequoias look like mere farm plants.

The Nile Perch can grow up to 2 meters and weigh up to 200 kg. This fish managed to invade Lake Victoria and easily eat many of the haplochromine prey there, in addition to outcompeting them.
