Need help with figuring out compatibility

I bought some pick-a-brick pieces to make little roses to put in my girlfriends work lunch but once they showed up i found out they weren’t compatible. Any way to salvage this with another piece? Or if someone could recommend a little build like this that i could order the pieces for thatd be fine too. Thanks.

I tried making a space ship

Scored these for free but are dirty and we’re from a smoking indoor household. What’s the best way to clean them or best solution to soak them in?
