What kind of woodis this.
I just bought a house in the Poconos with some acreage. Thought I would get back into woodworking as a hobby. This tree was already on the ground when I moved in so it was the first through my sawmill. I'm not sure what kind of tree it is. Photo shows rough cut through the sawmill and after it has been planed.

New sander help
My dewalt sander self distruccted today and I’m looking for advice on a new sander. Im slightly more than a weekend warrior and have my own side business for projects so I’m looking for a higher end sander. I was looking at the Festool RO 125 for overall use and seems great for furniture use. However I do epoxy work and I’m not sure if the rotex can do fine sanding for polishing clear epoxy. Can anyone chime in on your experiences?
