I think this line is really for Angela

Prior to this there's a scene where Angela is using a hand sanitizer while looking provocatively at Oscar. That's why he backed down almost immediately after lashing out to Michael

No matter how many times I watch this show, I can’t figure out why Jan wanted to be with Michael.

Michael’s Cringiest….

The show’s cringe factor is often brought up in this sub, haven’t seen this one posted before (although I’m sure someone has beaten me to it; this is Reddit, afterall)

I finally get it.

I’m starting a new job. As I have gotten closer and closer to the start date, my anxiety has been getting worse. Today when I was talking about it, I channeled Michael when he breaks down on the phone to Holly about not knowing where any of his TV stations are…my trigger was “I don’t know where I’m going to put my lunch” …tears 😭😭😭…it sent me into a crying fit…so yeah- I get it now. Starting new things is hard (that’s what she said) …

Dunder Mifflin was a very bad company?

Dunder Mifflin was a very bad company and Michael tried to do his best to keep hi branch engaged, happy and not realise how bad the company actually was. We can question his methods but I believe he tried to do the things opposite to what he lived during his time as an employee under Ed. Also, whenever any person from outside of DM Scranton is introduced, we realise how bad either the company was or the people outside were. Exception: Stamford Scranton merging episode

Greg Daniels obviously loved this joke because he wrote this episode of the Simpsons in 1994 and 13 years later the Office paid tribute
