J’zargo is a darn fine companion

Pure mage build, high elf. Finished the college quest and with J'zargo constantly trying to prove himself as the superior mage. Well, things happened and I am now Arch Mage. J'zargo asked for some favors and they were met. Now we are good friends, moving forward and exploring as fellow mages of the College of Wintehold. May our travels be safe and swift

Has it always been like this?

Has the dwarven helmet always had a smiling face on it or am I experiencing the mondela effect cause I swear it never had that face and it was a mouth open with a frown type of face

Spell cost bugged?

Anyone come across this and know a fix? I think it broke when I was messing around with the resto loop glitch last night making some random potions for fun. Only the destruction spells are messed up. I only have visual mods installed so I don't think it's a mod problem. I don't have any debuffs in the active effects menu.
