Andor's great - what else is there?

I've seen some people craving stuff related to the themes of Andor - particularly things that aren't covered in other Star Wars media, so I'm compiling a list of things that I think other people would enjoy based on that. Most works here are going to be about the lives of revolutionaries/depictions of rebels and their struggles - some will be sci-fi and others won't, just because I realize we all like Andor for putting light on very serious issues, like what it means to sacrifice one's life against injustice for better or worse. This is just an off-hand list, I invite others to add to it and share their thoughts in this community! Movies: Che Part 1 and 2 (strong recommendation here, directed by Steven Sonderbergh) Platoon The Battle of Algiers Battleship Potemkin Shows: The Expanse Star Trek: Deep Space 9 Books: The Mars Trilogy by Kim Stanley Robinson Les Miserables (the musical is also very good lol - but the OG novel it was based on was written by a French revolutionary Victor Hugo) Soledad Brother & Blood In My Eye by George Jackson (non-fiction) Soldiers in Revolt: GI Resistance During the Vietnam War by David Cortright (non-fiction, history book - but about a very important part of the civil rights movement) Podcasts: Mike Duncan's Revolutions podcast, particularly the French, Haitian and Russian seasons (HIGHLY recommend) Counting on other people to share. I'm more of a movies & books guy, so there's blindspots here on really good work on the shows/podcast/other media front. Thanks!
