What’s your deepest longing? [OC]

What about it?

I’ve been wondering if or when a new friend would show up for MissyAnn and this week one did! The friend is a caterpillar and her name is Butter. She and MissyAnn were having a conversation and I am able share with you part of what I overheard. MissyAnn and Butter were talking about deepest longings. MissyAnn asked Butter, “What’s your deepest longing?” Butter was quick to answer, “To fly.” As I think about what I overheard, I wonder… Where can I wrap myself in a silk cocoon to mend and transform? What is too heavy that I’m holding on to that I need to let go of to fly? What does flying feel like? Who is someone with whom I can share a deepest longing? Will I open my heart and talk? And will I ask the question of another and take time to truly listen? I do know that it helps to sit somewhere beautiful to begin…. Personally, I think under a flower is best. Peace & Joy, Kathleen
