About DFace
Let's be honest: DFace is just like Facebook. Only more fun.
Our story
DFace has been around since 2023. Along the way we tried a lot of things: we pitched ourselves as a Facebook replacement, we bet on games — we were figuring out what we wanted to be.
In the end we decided to keep it simple and just make a copy of Facebook — one where everyone has fun and it is easy to talk. Everything you can do on Facebook, you can do here. Even more conveniently, because, honestly, Facebook is not that convenient.
We tried to make it as good as we could. Next up is an Android app — it is already in the plans. iOS is hard for now, so Android comes first.
Why reinvent the wheel?
Everyone already knows how Facebook works. So everything is where you expect it: profile, friends, feed, likes, comments, photos, groups, pages, events and messages. You'll feel at home in a minute.
So what's the difference?
The vibe. We're building a place that's actually fun to hang out in: less corporate stiffness and dull rules, more real conversation, jokes and people with something to say.
Who we are
A small team that loves social networks but got tired of the boring ones. We keep improving things and we read what you write.
How it works
You sign up, fill in your profile, follow people and see their posts in your feed. You can post text, photos, videos and links, comment, react, share posts, send private messages, and create groups, pages and events.
Who sees what
You choose who can see each post. Public posts and profiles are visible without logging in; everything else only to the people you allow. Profile, follower and message privacy can be changed in your account settings.
Rules and moderation
The site follows its terms of use. Posts and comments that break them may be removed, and accounts of repeat offenders blocked. What data we keep and why is explained in the privacy policy.
How to report content
Every post, comment and profile has a “Report” option that sends it to the moderators. If it is urgent or you cannot log in, use the contact form.
