My Great-Great-Grandpa and his friends acting like clowns, late 1910s or early 1920s

What about it?

We’re not completely sure when this picture was taken but we do know that he graduated from Tulane University in the early-mid 1910s. He doesn’t look much older than 20, so we believe it could be late 1910s or early 1920s. Could also be way off - any fashionistas or historians have a more educated guess? The identity of his friends is also somewhat of a mystery, but we think they are his fraternity brothers, which makes this picture even funnier.

No one remembers who the guy was, wasn’t her date, just posed for the photo.

What about it?

The building pictured was the same style I went to in the early ‘70’s in my home town. It had a gavel parking lot and you walked up to the counter to order standing outside. It was the mid ‘70’s before they upgraded it. Note the menu. This was the real McDonalds before it tried to be everything to everyone.
