What was the ending for the comic book stories that started in the late eighties/early nineties?
What about it?
I’m talking about the comics with the continuity which started with year one, long Halloween, knightfall, and later had Hush, death and the maidens, etc. I’m aware of the New 52 retconn and all that, but what about this story? Do we ever get something of an ending? Or does the New 52 just blend in directly and change stuff? Like some alternate reality merger?
I was just reading that the dark knight returns cannot possibly be the ending, since it directly contradicts things that happened throughout this version of the Bat. I am hoping there’s somewhat of a conclusion, since I am mainly starting my graphic novel collection with this version of the story. If there is closure, can anyone please give me a small synopsis of what happens? Thx
Read Batman Hush for the first time. Art by Jim Lee. Written by Jeph Loeb
What about it?
The book was good. The art by Jim Lee is great, like always. Jeph Loeb understands Batman. Whenever Batman is doing detective work it’s the best part of the story and his inner monologue is great. Also why can’t DC ever let Batman be happy. The comic is way better than the animated movie.
I would love to hear what everyone thinks of the comic.
