So this week I was looking at my email and get an email from dime beauty. I honestly have not been on many sites lately… here, fb, mashable, otherwise all pages have been genealogy related. Nor have I signed up for anything. I quickly unsubscribe and think nothing of it until I get a text message. I have never heard of this company, never bought anything from them, hell I barely wear makeup that when I do I have to buy new so I buy e.l.f. brand to keep my costs low and not break out. This is like when 15+ years ago I started receiving Corner Bakery emails and I was like wth is Corner Bakery. I understand that you can purchase lists but I literally just asked a handful of companies to remove me from their databases and not sell my information in the last month. This seems more intentional like someone who I know possibly signed me up since they got my cell phone number as well as email.
