Thanks for the support, I won't be following any promotions again if I don't get what is advertised

What about it?

I was told I could claim a 6 inch sub for free the next day after ordering a foot long of the new menu series. It said in the app under the rewards section I could claim one, but there was no barcode to scan, so I was turned away. I like subway, the food is tasty, however I don't feel like giving my money to the franchise anymore.

Lady came in, ordered some of everything then complained.

What about it?

Yesterday was my third day, and the job is fairly easy so I’ve been just working like normal(for reference I’ve worked at 2 mcdonalds locations for 2 years and a Wendy’s for a few months). Some lady came in and ordered 3 foot-longs, and this one she ordered buffalo chicken(made me put chicken in a ramekin and toss it in buffalo sauce instead of just putting the sauce on the sandwich?) then got extra of every vegetable except spinach and jalapeños, then got a third ish of a bottle of mayo. I attempted to fold it but couldn’t because of how big it was, and she started bitching like “my husband will complain”, and started recording me and my coworkers. My coworker ended up making it again, but what do expect when they get as much toppings as the wrapper can hold?

I miss being an "artist"

What about it?

I don't know how many ex employees are in this sub, but do you guys ever miss creating delicious dishes for customers? I'm not interested in culinary, and love my current career path, but something about making items on the menu, actually look like items on the menu was so satisfying. Here's my double chicken chopped w/ avocado I'd make for one of my regulars back in the day. Something so simple from 7 years ago brings me so much joy.
