I'm Black side and I played a friend that told me this particular game ends in a stalemate since I missed my chance to "checkmate him in one" by moving queen to f2 and went h3 instead. How is that possible? Even though I went h3 with queen, his king can still move to f4, so how is this stalemate?

What about it?

Title. Please tell me. He insisted that I missed checkmating him in one move, so by that logic it ends in a stalemate when he clearly has a square to go to? I usually play chess online on chess.com and have never come across this rule!
