Tankless water heater needs replacement?
What about it?
Dear reader/plumber
Last year we bought and renovated an apartment .
There already was a condensating tankless water heater in it. But after a little research it looks to be in the age range of 12-15 years, and it's service history is unknown. It's a De Dietrich mcr 24/28 mi plus .
I already descaled it, took 70% appart and cleaned every piece I could get my hands on. And we had a technician over to check if my cleaning was ok, and to ''recalibrate'' it.
Now the question is, when do you change a boiler like this? How to check if it's not working like it should and just costing us more money then it should?
The following graf is from taking a normal bath and the second spike is washing my hair.
The unit also provides underfloor heating.
