[OC] (beginner cooker here) Just made my first ever pudin for mother's day

My wife, being a perfect mom, is making a fuss over the mother's day gift from our pre-schooler, a necklace with a modeling clay pendant. You'd think it was set with diamonds and rubies.

[OC] The strongest woman i know, who showed me the security of feeling loved in a sometimes hateful world, and inspires me to be for my children what she is for me, happy mother's day!

A little girl I met made my day (OC)

So a friend and I went out shopping and I decided to look a bit nicer than normal. So I put on makeup and did my hair in a Mohawk (pic of me). Well we went to a shoe store and as we were walking around we passed a mom and her little girl. The mom commented on how my hair looked cool. I smiled and thanked her. And we kept on to the next aisle. A few seconds later the little girl shyly walks up to me and the mom pokes her head around the corner and tells us her daughter was upset she didn't get to tell me she liked my hair. This sweetheart was just looking at me in awe. The way little kids look at their favorite cartoon characters when they get to meet them. So I get down on her level and she managed to get out that she liked my hair and then immediately gives me a big hug. It was just the sweetest most pure interaction I've ever had. So me and this girl talk for a minute before she runs back to her mom and we continued shopping. We happened to walk past them again and I hear the girl ask her mom if she could have hair like me. The whole thing was so sweet and pure. I've never had anyone want to be like me and to have this random little stranger look at me like that and want to be like me was so encouraging.It made my whole week. To the little girl at shoe carnival I want to be like you when I grow up.

I wore my Beetles shirt because my mom loves them. I had no idea that she was also wearing the exact same shirt.
