This image shows the two galaxies interacting. NGC 2936, once a standard spiral galaxy, and NGC 2937, a smaller elliptical, bear a striking resemblance to a penguin guarding its egg. This image is a combination of visible and infrared light, created from data gathered by the NASA/ESA Hubble S.T.

Reionization is the process by which neutral hydrogen atoms are ionized, making the universe transparent to light at wavelengths that would have been absorbed by the atoms.

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope revealed a colorful and extremely detailed image of Ring Nebula, also known as Messier 57. The Ring Nebula is the glowing remains of a dead star, located around 2,200 light-years away. Some say it looks like an eye, others see a stadium. What do you see?
