Chemical in Tank?

What about it?

Hey, i just moved into this property and they left this sprayer, but it's full of some red chemical. It was an estate sale, so we can't get in touch with the previous owner to ask what it is. I would love to be able to clean it out and use it for a water or compost tea sprayer. Is this possible, or is this tank contaminated and not able to be cleared off chemical? If so, what's my best way to get rid of the chemical (where would I put it,) and clean it?

I grew up on a 100-acre dairy farm and as a child I screamed blue murder when I stepped on a worm in the garden in my bar feet after a rain. My mother looked at me and said, "Where did you come from?" Even now, I abandoned my good vegetable garden in part because of the slugs. Tonight I stepped into the barn and saw this bug on the floor. We get them every year, they don't seem to do anything, including move. The cats walk back and forth over them and don't care. I hate mice. I freak out about mice. I have barn cats for that and I'm glad for the coyotes to take care of things in the fields. So I'm out here in the hinterlands because it suits me in so many ways, but I'm all the time swallowing bile because of the stuff that disgusts me out freaks me out.

We grew our own black beans this year. We ended up with just over 5 litres (~ 10lbs). This should do us for the year!
