after another 35 moves of shuffling pieces, we agreed to a draw as we didn’t know how to progress. Is there a way to improve this position in any way or is it a dead draw?

I cannot wrap my head around why the game is equal in the left position, but White has a crushing advantage in the right picture. Can anyone help me understand Stockfish's evaluation?

What about it?

I've tried going through the Stockfish lines following a Bxf2+ sacrifice with the right position, and I still cannot figure out why the Traxler's characteristic bishop sac fails following Bxh7+, Ke2, Bc4, and h6.
