My mom has, over the past couple years, has taken a liking to jigsaw puzzles. I recently bought her this botanical set (1028…

What about it?

I’ll totally admit I gave her this present as sort of a self-insert because it’s more of my hobby and not her’s. But I couldn’t help but feel there was a lot of similarities among jigsaw puzzles and Lego. Does anyone else agree? For reference, unfortunately, I got this for my Mom months ago and she hasn’t touched it. I sense she finds comfort in jigsaw puzzles, and doesn’t really want to break of out of her comfort zone so to speak. Hence why she hasn’t opened it yet. She’s a busy lady. But on the other hand, I feel like this would be such a good bonding activity between the two of us. She’s especially lonesome lately since Dad passed… So maybe I’m just overly hopefully that we can find a quirky little hobby that brings both of us joy. Any advice of any sort is appreciated. Thanks!

Lego Glamrock Freddy UPDATE and HELP!

What about it?

So far, I'm happy with what I've done, but I have a problem... I can't figure out how to make a hinge for the lower trap door. It will not work if the trap door is connected by a simple hinge. For accuracy and so the model looks good, I kinda have to do it. Any suggestions on how I could make it?
