What’s a movie that you loved when you were younger, but turned out to be kinda awful rewatching as an adult?
What about it?
My partner had never seen Scream, and it was streaming free so we watched it.
I did not realize or remember how much creepy coercion was going on in this flick. It was scarier than the serial killing.
Neve Campbell’s character is dealing with people dying at school, her mom’s death anniversary coming up, being attacked by a killer, and a jerk journalist hounding her - all Skeet can think of is when they’re gonna get a rated NC-17 relationship 🥴
I love the plot and all the little Easter eggs (“Not you, Fredâ€, “Jamie, look behind you!â€) but boy howdy this got me.
Is there any movie you’ve been like “oh you gotta watch this?!†And then ended up cringing over?
(Also I hope this isn’t a repost and has the right flare, first time posting here)
