Refund request declined on a cancelled order… what?
2 mins after ordering I got a notification that one of my items was out of stock so the restaurant subbed one of my items with something more expensive and I was being charged the difference. I tried calling with no answer and so I checked to see if I could cancel the order through doordash since no driver had been assigned and it let me and I was sent an email saying I’d be refunded.
Now the amount has posted to my credit card and I contacted support to make sure I was getting my refund only for them to close the chat on me three times before being done, say they’ve escalated it to a specialist and then I immediately get an email saying my refund request was denied. Ummm what? You’re not going to refund me for a cancelled order?
Yeah I’ll be disputing this charge with my credit card then.

This is what doordash has to say about this issue…I literally spent 25 hours looking at the clouds in the busiest hotspot in my city….i saw other dashers park and leave within 10-20 minutes and i kept waiting hours and didn’t get a single order…another operator told me it was because they were too dashers and got priority…i dont believe that evert dasher that parks next to me is a top dasher, statistically that’s impossible…so whats the truth?
