This is the only photo I have of my grandpa when he was young. I guess his father decided to take them to get a family portrait done. It’s strange how his mom isn’t in the picture but maybe it was meant to just be the boys. He grew up in the south central area of Los Angeles so during the 40s so I always wondered if he was a “zoot suit” kid or not.
