My Girl Only Likes Her Little Brother Now

For context, my 4 year old Husky has historically been extremely friendly and playful towards other dogs, even to the point of when they showed slight aggression she would keep trying to play. However about a year and a half ago, we adopted a boy, a rescue pit/German mix. They love each other very much. After we had them together for a while, anytime I bring my husky near other dogs she shows signs of aggression. At first it seemed like she was only doing this around her little bro, but this morning I tried to introduce her to a neighbors dog and she got snappy. I had to apologize, the neighbor was cool about it, nobody got hurt, it was just a quick growl and bark combo that didn’t sound happy. However, is this something that has permanently changed in my dog? Will she ever be cool around other dogs again or is it just her and her bro for life now?

Is the rose skin around the eyes demodex?

Hello, my 8 month old dog started developing a rose color skin or a rash around the eyes. When I adopted him I was made aware that he had demodex/demodectic mange but it has been under control since, last visit to the vet was around 1 month ago and it was under control then too. Looking at photos from like a month ago it didn’t seem to have that color, it was just black hair. Is this demodex getting out of control?

Puppy losing hair around eyes

Hi, My 6 month old puppy is supper itchy around the neck and face area and seems agitated at times. He’s doing spins before lying down which is new for him and he seems to be slightly more aggressive with the biting -he is teething so I am assuming that’s the cause for biting but I’m still worried. Took him to the vet but couldn’t find an answer. Tests did not show ringworm. We are speculating food allergy. Any advice? Thanks x

Help! Leaving adopted dog home alone for first time

We got our dog from the shelter about a month ago. We have never left him alone and never crated him. He understandably has some attachment issues. We just got the crate pictured and plan to leave him home alone for about 3 hours this weekend. Will this crate be okay? Is there any way to make it more homey/comfortable for him? I like that the crate stores easy but have fears of him chewing through and getting sick or somehow collapsing it on himself. Any advice would be appreciated! Alternatively, maybe we could try to take him but I know at some point, inevitably, we will have to leave him home alone.
