Uber started to charge for searching for cars, with no possibility to back out of the search without paying

Blurred /erased a bunch of text to prevent doxxing. I backed out of an Uber search today because it was taking too long to find a car (no car had been found yet), to try another app. After a few minutes I wanted to try Uber again and the "Confirm pickup" button was replaced by a "confirm with obligation to pay" button. It looks like now I have to pay for the privilege to search for an Uber regardless of its inability to find me a ride.

Amazon refuses my negative review despite giving no options to return a smashed glass delivery. (Packaging in review shows that it wasn't sufficient for glass either)

Ordered some glass jars from Amazon and as soon as I picked up the box I could tell the glass was shattered. Opened it up and it was shattered to almost dust, but the packaging was just a cardboard box with no sealant so was leaking out the sides Only option Amazon gave me was a return which was deffo not an option, it was hazardous for me to even go near, let alone figuring out how to post a bag of shattered glass while keeping the postal guys safe. I should have just said "never received" but once I went down the "damaged" route they insisted on a return. I know it's not necessary the sellers fault for damaged post but there was clearly unsafe packaging here. I tried to post a negative review (the only option Amazon gave me was to wait for a call within 48 hours which never happened) but they just went ahead and declined it! SO skewed are their reviews
