First thought was it was lions mane, but it didn't really compare. Does anyone know of any dangerous look alike? Thinking of going for it. New England

Cortinarius Iodes?

Found these little guys during a hike on the CT coast today, reverse image search says cortinarius Iodes, but was looking for a second opinion. Caps were about 2-3 inches in diameter, couldn't easily get a good picture of the gills unfortunately.

What is this? Found in Central MN.
