Why i die so easy , when i have good items

Hey ya all. Ive been playing sorc and i love the class , but i have trouble staying alive in higher lvl dung. I die from one hit and i cant kill the butcher no matter what. 97lvl with pretty good if not almost perfect items yet again this mofo kills me every single time. I die a lot also in 80+ nm dung like 2 shots and i am dead. I enjoy the class, but i remember with with my druid lvl 82 on eternal i was walking through butcher and 70lvl nm without dying at all.
