Grew my own wine caps

Spread some wine cap spores from Northern Spore in May. Here’s one of the mushrooms that popped up. Just sautéed it in olive oil with garlic. Tastes like asparagus!

I saw this beauty on a hike near Marathon, ON.

I love to check out all the cool mushrooms when I hike but this one was particularly interesting. I also though my photo turned out kind of cool.

No basal cup, coloration on caps is a blend of orange and light brown, found in an area with aspens and conifers (spruce?), Has a nutty/earthy smell
