Open boxes before leaving store

I bought this months ago, not sure if it Walmart or Target. Opened it today to find it was hot glued back together 😭🤬 I need to start opening boxes before leaving the store to check if it’s real. Been burned a few times in the last year already. This hurts as much as Ninjago City on clearance to find out 6 months later everything was swapped out 🤬🤬🤬

When do you think this Lego Ideas “A Nightmare Before Christmas” set will come out? October 2023?

A Nightmare Before Christmas is my all time favourite film. I used to watch it every Friday night of October on the build up to halloween and sometimes in December too. When I heard that the Lego Ideas submission had been approved and was going to become a real Lego set I was e static. I wonder how Lego will change the model when they do eventually release it, hopefully the main key features are still there and it isn’t shrunk down a lot like I fear it might be. I still am waiting patiently for this set as o know that I will definitely be buying it for myself no matter the cost. My only question is WHEN it’ll be teased and released, I think October this year would be a good time to release it given it’s theming.
