A brilliant i did (guess why it's brilliant). Best move i found in my chess career (i'm 600 elo)
A quick checkmate against the classical Caro Kann. It was weird because I learned to play this opening from the other side of the board.
slowly but surely progressing.... what courses are you studying and whats your elo? im curious
Should I learn many different openings ? I just hit 1200 (rapid )but I only do this every time no matter if I’m black or white. Is this fine or should I learn actual openings ? What else is most important for beginners to improve ?
Happy with the tactic I found from this position
first intentional brilliant move
Found this really satisfying White to play
i hate playing these kind of positions because i don't know how to even progress from here.
My first ever briliant move against a 100 elo difference opponent
Sometimes things in life just fall into place without much effort… Kind of a unique checkmate. Made me chuckle.
A while ago I made a guide as to how chess notation works, here it is again for the newcomers.
