Work has been putting these signs up everywhere (caption for more relevant information)

This is their way of saying no one is allowed to do homework at work anymore. I live in a college town and a good number of the employees here are either high schoolers or college students. This is not a small family owned business. This is a branch of a huge well-known non profit company that has branches all over the US. Almost every raise I’ve gotten was due to minimum wage increase. I’ve been with this company for over five years and I’m still making starting rate. Yes, I’ve asked for a raise. Front desk is a bit understaffed so I was going to offer to take on more shifts but they need people from 430am - 830am and I would not be allowed to take homework because “members get disheartened when they see staff not doing [company] things”. That is a direct quote from the manager. I don’t know what they expect?? Why would you live in a college town and get upset when you see a college student doing homework?? I genuinely wouldn’t mind the no homework rule if they paid us more. I really could go on and on about this workplace but it’s not relevant to the post so I’ll leave it at that.

I watched this at Grandma's 36 years ago and have been unable to confirm its existence until now. All I could remember was the magical labyrinth under the castle. Found the whole show on YouTube by accident, it was like unfolding memories.
