Console gamer switching to pc, after some research I am really liking this graphics card, is it a good one to build my first gaming pc around?

The Crew Motorfest PC Specs: Arent the 480 and the 580 essentially the same card with a small overclock on the later ? How is 480 only running this game at 30 FPS low whilst the 580 can apparently do 4k Ultra ? What I'm trying to get at is do the specs such companies provide even mean anything ?

So usually i use a hdmi cable straight to my monitor however there are none here so idk is it possible that i need to use a vga cable to connect it bc my monitor does support vga

MSI stealth ms16k2 and I can’t seem to find a solid answer on how to make sure I buy the correct fan to replace in my laptop. The fan has just completely stopped and the laptop in unusable without it. Any info anyone can assist me with would be extremely helpful. Thank you all and I love you
