Does anybody knows why my laptop only boots when the battery isn't plugged in?

Hey sorry for my bad english & sorry if it isn't the right sub. Around a year ago i replaced the battery on my laptop, however today i replaced it back to the old one since the new one is broken (battery not detected). After changing it, i turn the laptop on only to see a black screen (just like the image shown). No Acer logo, nothing. Just black. The orange light is also blinking. However when i removed the battery & turn it on with the charger, it boots up normally. Does anybody knows how to fix this? Thanks!

I just bought a Wera Screwdriver because i need a new screwdriver. I always said if i buy a LTT one its gotta be atomic purple. I just want to make it clear you drove me to do this Linus. It goes without saying i will still buy the atomic purple one. So where's the Screwdriver Lebow... Linus??
