Golden ate plastic bottle cap

I have an 11 month old golden who is 43 pounds, tonight she brought my husband an empty water bottle with no cap and we were unable to find the cap so can only assume she ate it. We tried inducing vomiting and weren’t sure if we should take her to the emergency vet or wait it out. Just nervous that if we wait she would end up with a blockage and need surgery….any advice?
