Gacha games

I don’t play many mobile games or “Gacha” games. So maybe someone can clear this up for me. I always thought “Gacha” had a negative connotation. I am American, we have this thing where we say “got ya!” After we play a prank on someone, or trick them etc. I thought these “Gacha” games were just that. Like they got you, they got your money, and you got nothing back. Like they tricked you. And now they are fully embracing the Gacha title. Anyone else confused by this? So, when will we get a new (good) Castlevania?

It's been 9 years since a Castlevania game, 13 years since a decent Castlevania game, and 26 years since a truly great Castlevania game. With all the reboots and remakes going around, when will we get another Castlevania game? If production companies are out of ideas for things original, it seems like a dig through past catalogs is a great place to start for a new game. I read an article once that said Castlevania was the 4th best series of all time, behind Mario, Zelda, and Final Fantasy. Seems like we NEED a new entry.
