I still don't see any sense on why this Spidey specifically signed up with Miguel considering that the death of may on his Earth, is a close cicle on what defines Spiderman and here's why:

In Insomniac's Earth, May died because of a selfless act by Peter, while Ben died because of a selfish act by him, it's all in full circle, he truly became *"GREATER"* Which to me, I think this Peter at least, should've been talk more with Peter B specially, considering that he have a Miles on his Earth, where he actively trains him not to be better than him, but being his own thing, he encourages Miles to be different, this Peter would probably be the SECOND WISEST Spiderman in that society, where he can see something that Peter B couldn't, like, I still think if Insomniac Peter talk about everything that happened to his May, I think Miles wouldn't run in desperation to his Earth and challenging the whole Spider Society, this Spiderman should have understand and tells and explains Miles, to take the things a little easy, because, the more you try to anticipating the preventions of a catastrophe, relying too much on yourself, letting your ego and strong personality taking over your faith that you can defy everything, anything, you usually fall from a bigger height that you never could dream of. Also, I don't think the arc that Insomniac Peter will have in Spider-Man 2 is anything to do to the fact that he had to sacrifice May, he didn't, SHE SAID, to him let her die, she was aware of everything that was happening and what role her nephew have, so, she gave her life in order for the same do the right thing, we don't know if Jefferson will do such thing to Miles, if he's aware on everything, that his own son is Spiderman, that while he learned everything on how to be a good Spidey with the OG(Peter and honours the legacy of the dead one in his earth(Blonde Peter), who always was and will ever be Miles's Hero and inspiration to be such, will always be Jefferson, with Jefferson probably(OR NOT) giving Miles a Thomas Wayne kinda of speech once Thomas knows that Bruce is alive in a reality where he and Martha died and he become Batman after that, Thomas was no dumb to figure out quickly that being Batman is a shit show of a life, and strictly and straight up said to Bruce: "Find Happiness, I never wished such life for you, you have to move on, your life is still going, so, do your own thing, because me and your mother will always be with you." A line like that maybe can be said to Miles and he's offered with a fucking deal once in a while: if you quit, you may lose the privileges on being Spiderman, but, you can be happier than ever, a bright future waits for you Miles, you unfortunately can't have everything, some things you have to throw away in order to maintain others, so, what's gonna be your choice? Let the ones who are the target of canon, decide what they're gonna do once they know everything about what you've been hiding from them, I know it's hard and dangerous to tell, but, what choice do you or any of us have at some time? It's always inevitable that those we love the most and so dearly, will always find out about our secret" -Spiderman Insomniac, probably. I'm still think the arc that this Peter will have in Spider-Man 2 is all about, he can't standing or taking other betrayal and desilusion with a closer friend of him, turning out to be an unredeemable a-hole, like, I can see Miles seeing and figuring out that something is very off and weird with Harry and warns Peter about it, whereas Peter don't believe or ignores Miles's Warns about Harry(considering the fact that Miles suffered some crazy and sad shit with a old friend of his in his game) Peter's denial is not out of thinking he knows better than Miles or in a way to let him down and underestimating his judgement, is the fact that Peter can't bring himself to suffer that same pain of betrayal again, he can't loose and break again, he's already pretty damn shattered on seeing the tragic fall from grace from Otto, a hero of his showing his true colors, he can't believe that Harry might be a case like Otto, he wants desperately to trust and be right that Harry is no hiding monster, just waiting for the right time to awaken and make Peter's life a more uncanny hell, the symbiote will feed all those dark thoughts of Peter and turning him in a monster of a Spiderman, whereas Miles has to do his best on bringing Peter back to light, that no matter what happens, he can always count on him and MJ, Miles in this game will kinda maintain and tries to make Peter still maintain his friendly neighborhood charm and persona to his city, to Peter still trust the peoples he swore to protect, Otto wasn't the only good friend he made a long the way of his journey in the first game, right that Yuri turns crazy, but, she didn't break Peter's mind or heart in a way that Otto did. That's pretty much what's gonna be Peter's journey in the second game, he still carrying a larger cross of problems that came with a grim PTSD from his trauma on losing May and being betrayed by Otto and not knowing what to do with the possibility that his best friend, might be also a dangerous villain that he has to take down and that he also maybe doesn't have salvation, but, Miles will stand by his side and show, that he doesn't have to walk such cross alone and he will make Peter be far more greater now, Peter's encouraging nature and teaching, make Miles be his own hero and achieve greatness on his own terms, now, it's time for the student to make the teacher, get his light of heroism on the tracks again, and being greater, *TOGETHER!*
