PSA: KidsAreStupid, sunscreen destroys plastics, but they will spray it on Legos to "make them shiny"

My daughter did this to an $80 set. At least a dozen cracked or broken pieces, and it happened fast. I could still smell the sunscreen heavy in the air as she was crying about cracked pieces. We used it as a teachable moment about only using things for their intended purposes. but still alot of tears.

What else can these duplo elephants hold?

Any ideas what these elephants can actually hold? I’m confused because the only piece I have found them able to hold is coral from the ocean set. The baby can hold the giant banana but the adult cannot.
