Tales of a slightly weirded out atheist

Good, way too fucking early, morning I work at PDX airport. It's around 2:30am. I am a retired wildlife educator (zoology biology evolutionary biology) who pushes wheelchairs to stay busy. At the start of lockdown I made myself a toy I had wanted since the 80s. I made a pirate broadcast station. It's just open source broadcasting software and YouTube. I make myself a program to watch on the bus and during down time at work. Long story short I have had some success with reducing intrusive memories by playing with this toy. I've spoken at length with my therapist and psychiatrist and they both love this as an emotional journal and see merit in its use as a therapy tool for CPTSD. I usually get off at 12:30 but a delayed flight has me stuck here. Around 1am I posted on a psychology sub about my little toy with my theories as to why it works. About twenty minutes later I over hear a woman asking if there were computers available. Her phone has gotten wet and had died and she wasn't sure how to get in touch with the folks she was there to meet. I offered her my phone and she emailed and texted her friend. As she waited for a reply we started chatting. She had recently graduated college and found herself between jobs so was taking a short trip. I asked what her field of study was. She replied psychology with an emphasis on neurology and early childhood development. I mentioned I had just posted a question about psychology as it pertains to trauma and asked if I could pester her about it. I described the project and she said the principals seemed sound. She then asked how the device worked. I explained it, finishing with saying the the controls were simple enough that in theory it could be run with an eye tracking mouse. She replied that that's what her father did was design them. Finally her friend texted she made her arrangements and thanked me for allowing her to use my phone. I said her friend has my email if and that if she was interested in looking at the toy I'd be happy to show her how it worked. She remarked that she had already emailed it to herself from my phone earlier. My life has been next level bizarre. I make terrible choices that always seem to turn in to grand adventures. One could say I'm blessed. I just say I'm always nice and shit just kinda works out for me. Still an atheist but I have to admit that was an extraordinary coincidence.
