My first project made from left over 2x4

I learned alot doing this project with bare amount of tools

I can’t bring myself to throw out the big foot innards. I feel like I’m throwing out their souls. Looks like I’ll be building a shelf in the shop for them.

Wood species help

The back where the holes are drilled out for hinges is a light color. looks like maple to me. The grain on the panels and face frame is throwing me off.

Any structural benifit?

In the process of stripping this 100 year old door. I would like to stain and clear coat it. Anyone know if this could be Douglas fir, and what kind of finish it should have?

There is a storm door to help protect it, and it gets a few hours of sun a day

Hi I got this peg football game for my birthday its on a very soft piece of quarter inch particle board assume it was laser etched because of all the fine lettering looking for the best suggestions to add a thin stain so its earier to read and looks cooler lol any suggestions would be appreciated . . . . .
