What is going on with my dog’s paw?
My dog recently has stoped using his paw, not putting any weight on it. We took him to the vet and they did and X-ray, it’s not broken. Vet said he saw growths on his paw but wasn’t sure what they were so they gave us a chlorahexadine soak and some pain meds. Curious if anyone could give me a more direct answer on what the heck is going on with his paw!

Growth on paw
We just discovered a growth in between the pads of the left hind leg on our 2 year old Golden Retriever. We discovered it as she started limping on a walk on a gravel path and it started to bleed. After the walk it was clear it was irritated and big enough that it was pushing her pads apart. However, after a bit the swelling went down enough that her pads came together to the point where they looked normal. Going to take her to vet next week to get it checked out, but just wondering if anyone has seen anything like this before?

Could this effect my pup mentally I’m fine with playing along especially bc it makes
Her happy but I worry for her mentally state could this affect her? If it would effect her badly dose anyone have any tips for this??
