Players are hired to sweep a barren lunar surface, collecting stray dust with a starter toothbrush and hauling it to collection points for sale. They can team up with up to 15 other players to expand their operation, upgrading brushes into industrial vacuums and eventually purchasing rovers and orbital cleaners to cover more ground.

Core play is a loop of vacuuming, selling, and reinvesting. Dust drifts in slow-moving clouds that settle on craters, so players must decide whether to chase high-density patches or spread out to clear larger zones; selling prices fluctuate, nudging groups to time their hauls. Upgrades change movement speed and suction radius, and vehicles let teams split duties-some pilot, others walk behind with handheld units. The moon is rendered in low-poly greys with sharp lighting that casts long shadows across impact ridges. Dust appears as drifting white particles that cling to surfaces until brushed away, and the soundtrack mixes soft ambient pads with the rhythmic hum of motors and the occasional clink of collected canisters. The game suits groups of two to eight friends who enjoy short, repeatable sessions and light resource juggling. Solo players can still progress, but the economy and map size are tuned for cooperative splitting of tasks.

I loaded Moon Sweepers thinking it would be a quick thing to fill an evening, but the first hour felt like the tutorial was never going to stop. The map is bigger than it looks, and the little arrow keeps telling you where to stand instead of letting you figure anything out.

Once the hand-holding finally went away, the loop settled into something tolerable. I spent twenty straight minutes dragging a level-two vacuum back and forth between two craters, watching the dust meter crawl up one pixel at a time. The only thing that kept me from closing the tab was realizing I could angle the hose so the dust would slide downhill instead of having to push it all the way.

Even then, the thing still feels half-finished. The multiplayer cap at fifteen people sounds generous until you notice the shared collection zones never actually scale the payouts. My rover sits parked half the time because there is nowhere left to park it without somebody else already claiming the patch.
