My Maternal Grandmother. We believe it is from around the 1950s. She would have been in early 20s. She is one of the hardest working people I have ever known. She had a heart of gold but was the queen of backhand compliments.

Josef Sudek was a WWI veteran, who learned photography as a mean to earn a living with his injury, he lost an arm.
