i feel like i can say my baby feels safe in his new home. or he’s just a very sleepy baby. he already flopped down on his side 3 times in a row lol. ! disclaimer ! he’s almost 6 weeks old. i live in canada which doesn’t have a law that makes selling bunnies under 8 weeks illegal, that’s why i have him. i have everything ready for him and made sure to get everything he needs to make the transition to his new home as pleasant and smooth as possible.

So the other day I saw one of my rabbit's back feet was a bit sore, and the fur around one side was a bit blood stained (I assume blood). Waited for my mum to come back and check (despite being 30, I don't drive so she's my only way of accessing the vets if needed...) and she can't find anything. I check again. Now I can't find anything either, except for his sore hocks which didn't look like what I thought I saw earlier. We decide to do a sudecrem daily/ every 2 days. Today, I find a small amount of blood on his cool mat where he was sitting. Still can't find anything. Checked everything, his belly, his bum, his feet -- and I mean REALLY checked his feet. Mum is in the "wait and see" category which, as we know, doesn't really work for rabbits. I on the other hand am a chronic worrier with OCD intrusive thoughts worrying about the worst. What would you do? (P.s. I feel like I always comment on this channel to ask about a bunny worry, so I've attached a picture of a picture cute snooze moment from Pablo)
