My grandma was studying to be a doctor before the Castro regime went into full chaos mode. From what I understand, they were all expelled for protesting something, and in the next few months after this picture was taken, every single one of these people was imprisoned or emigrated to New York/Miami.
She (bottom right) never became an MD, but she got a doctorate in math education about 30 years after this, so Ill count it.
