Welp, its over folks.
What about it?
Median earning of $13/hr... Back in the fall of 2022 I was averaging $22-24/hr, and these updates from uber were advertising a $22 median hourly wage. This average has been steadily declining for basically this entire year, and now its $13. My zone is officially dead. Recession + saturated employees (every shift now there's like 8 drivers in a given hot zone just sitting and waiting for hours) = no money to be made
“Expenses†taken out of my reimbursement.
What about it?
I know, it’s my fault for forgetting the plus card (I still haven’t found it) and for taking a shop and pay BUT, it was good pay for a short shop, 3 items, and a good tip. I’d already gotten to the checkout before I realized the card wasn’t in my wallet. I paid for it with my card as the support person told me i would be reimbursed the whole amount in 24-48 hours. It was $59.95 and I was reimbursed the following day but with $1.70 taken out for “expensesâ€. Wtaf is that and why not the full amount. Support has not responded to my message yet and i really don’t have energy to call.
Oddest connect order ever: homeless, laundry
What about it?
Met this couple outside of a storage unit that they appear to be living out of. The dude loads these two bags of laundry into my vehicle and tells me the laundromat will grab it from me at the curb. Very nice guy who appeared to be going through some shit with his partner because she was a mess. Felt bad for them so I refunded their trip after delivery
Biggest tip I've got so far 😊
What about it?
Ihop didn't have their cook so the other employees were taking turns cooking so i was inside ihop for about 35 minutes. I updated him on his order , talked back & forth with him and then he said "i updated your tip". I figured it was changed to about 15 bucks....Nope. I gasped when it came across my screen ðŸ˜
