I'm not reading this study with a gun to my head but I have to wonder what they mean by "initiating"/"reciprocal". Was dinner cold? Did another man look at her? Did she not know exactly how to coddle his moodswings? This is the exact rhetoric abusers use and to blame DV victims for their DEATHS is absolutely sickening. I don't know why I thought it was a good idea to read the comments, all of them were either this, "men get abused too" (true, but why do you only bring it up when you're trying to undermine women's issues) or terfs foaming at the mouth about the charity also offering help to trans women. I get social media brings out the dregs of society but it's so hard to have any faith in the world at this point.
