I played this absolutely brilliant move winning a queen, and chess’s analysis says it’s ‘okay’? Am I overlooking something?

Why is this a draw? I thought when you are up a pawn, it’s a win.

friend (black) resigned and claims that it was a draw cuz he "is in a winning position" (white to move)

I decided to troll move and it somehow came out as brilliant.

What about it?

In this position my opponent blunders his queen. I decided to troll him by making a completely unnecessary in-between move before taking his queen. Either way, I would have lost the knight in return for his queen. My opponent resigned after this move. (maybe the move upset him too much). Analysing both scenarios shows the games continuing as normal. My only guess is that Bxf4 is somehow is positionally better for black than Kxd3 which again makes 0 sense since it makes the king more exposed? Can someone try to explain?
