pc won’t start up

i had gotten a new graphics card and it completely ruined my pc, i tried downloading certain things it told me too, and my pc just shut off, and ever since then it always starts up and says “disk error occurred” smth smth. I just did chkdsk and it booted windows but then sent me to boot repair, i tried deleting everything and it just turned my computer off and did the same thing can anyone tell me how to fix my hard drive or what’s wrong 😭, when i go to boot repair it looks weird too it has little lines n shit

i just got some new ram and installed it in the 1st and 3rd slot of my pc, however now when i boot it up it presents me with this screen. however once it is done counting down it boots normally. can anyone explain what’s going on?

My question is, if I plug this into a modern gaming pc, (without a disc tray built into it) will this little device allow old pc game discs to be downloaded onto the modern gaming pc with it plugged in? And like play movies and such? (I hope so)
