why is my focaccia bread pale?

Hi! I followed a recipe, after 20 minutes at 400 degrees F (recipe said 200 celsius which is 392 F so I did 400 bc my oven temp goes my knob).
After it was pale after that time, I tried turning the heat up to 450 for 10 more minutes.
Also, when dimpling the dough before baking, my dough was stickyish. I’m not sure why or what causes that.
