quoted 14K for a sleeve

i have been wanting to get my sleeve done by this specific artist, i reached out a while ago and finally got a price. i was quoted 14K for a sleeve for this specific design. the artist told me it would take around 4-5 sessions and he charges 4.5K for each session. i completely understand the time and dedication it takes to master this kind of style and the amount of work it takes to get this done, but my biggest worry is that my arm is very skinny and tiny (compared to the arm in the picture) not much surface area compared to others. this would be my first tattoo and i’m not sure if that is a reasonable price for it? i just want to make sure i make the right financial decision for myself. if anyone could help me out i would appreciate it!

The wife wanted me an her to get cactus themed tattoos as a couples thing. I'm always down for some ink. So I told her and the 2 kids to go Google some cactus art/ tattoos and each of em pick a photo of somethin. I sent the 3 images to my artist and told em to make something outta the 3. And this is what I ended up getting. I think its nifty..
