The Mummy Returns (2001) is often mocked for its bad CGI. The poor CG was actually intended by the filmmakers as we are seeing The Scorpion King through Rick O’Connell’s eyes. Because his wife was just killed his eyes are all watery from crying or something which is why the CGI looks like shit.

In Hamilton, Aaron Burr says "And me? I'm the damn fool that shot him" in the first song. This is a reference to the fact that his actor, Leslie Odom Jr, actually thinks the musical is terrible, and is spoiling it to discourage people from watching it.
